Terms and conditions

These terms explain the rules for using Shareholder.co.uk and our business finance comparison service.

Shareholder UK LLC
01

About Shareholder

Shareholder.co.uk is operated by Shareholder UK LLC, incorporated in Wyoming, United States.

The site currently provides information about business finance and a finance enquiry journey for eligible UK limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs).

02

Using the service

You must provide accurate information and be authorised to act for the business named in an enquiry. Do not use the site unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or submit information about another person or business without authority.

The current finance enquiry asks for a company, email address and funding amount. The available route and eligibility criteria may change as the service develops.

03

Comparisons and finance providers

Shareholder is not a lender and does not provide loans, credit cards or other finance. Any finance is offered by a third-party provider, which sets its own eligibility checks, rates, fees, terms and lending decision.

Information on the site is general and is not a recommendation tailored to your business or financial advice. Review a provider’s full offer and terms, and take independent advice if you need it, before applying.

04

Enquiries and referrals

When you submit a business finance enquiry, we save your details and assign a finance provider. We send that provider an email containing your company name, company number, business type, email address, requested funding amount, referral reference and submission date so they can respond to your request.

Your enquiry is referred to one assigned provider: Lending People, Infund or Walmoor Capital. You can also continue to the assigned provider’s website, where additional information and their own terms may apply.

05

Site content and availability

We aim to keep site information useful and understandable, but it may not always be complete, current or available. Provider information can change, and you should verify important details with the provider.

The final terms should describe how intellectual property, site changes, service interruption and termination are handled.

06

Liability and your legal rights

No liability cap or exclusion is asserted in these terms. Any final wording must be reviewed against the laws that apply to the company and to people using the UK site.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

07

Governing law and jurisdiction

Wyoming was supplied as the company’s jurisdiction. The governing law and courts for these terms, including how mandatory protections for UK users apply, remain to be confirmed.
